Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical issues associated with long-term assets in accounting. Different approaches to these assets in regulatory documents are examined, including their presentation as resources acquired by enterprises for equity interests, bonuses, or long-term use. Long-term financial investments and assets recognized as investment property are also considered among the effective directions for future capital investment. Therefore, reconsidering the classification and characteristics of long-term assets is of current importance.
