Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of cold chain infrastructure and its functional significance in the economic system, particularly in the value chain. The study explores the role of temperature control in the processing of perishable products, from production to delivery to the end consumer. It also substantiates the role of cold chain systems in creating added value, reducing losses, and expanding export opportunities.
